Bijli Mahadev is a sacred temple located at a height of 2438 m in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Nowadays vehicles can go up to the nearest point of the temple, but to enjoy the real beauty of the place you must choose the trekking route which is just 3 km long and is full of refreshing air, pleasant weather with the amazing views of Kullu Valley, Parbati, and Bhuntar. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, as the story tells that every 12 years lightning falls on the Shivlinga breaking it into smaller pieces which are then collected by the priest there and combined with butter and Shivlinga regains its original form again.
